Trusted care — not the largest, not the cheapest, but the most trusted.

01 Raised in South Punjab, Pakistan, surrounded by livestock and horses, Dr. Waqar Ahmad developed an early passion for equine health and welfare. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2013 and has since built an international career dedicated to equine practice.

02

Dr. Ahmad has trained and worked in equine referral hospitals and ambulatory practice across Pakistan, the Middle East, the United States, and Europe. His experience includes positions at Dubai Equine Hospital, The Equine Center in California (USA), government large-animal services in Pakistan, and a referral equine practice in Oman, where he served as Equine Veterinarian and Practice Manager. He has also worked in equine practice in Sindelfingen, Germany. Most recently, he joined GE HealthCare GmbH as a Veterinary Ultrasound Clinical Specialist, providing ultrasound training and clinical support to veterinarians across Europe.

03

Dr. Ahmad enjoys all aspects of general and emergency equine medicine, with particular interests in sports medicine, dentistry, reproduction, and evidence-based equine care. He is an FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian and FEI Level 1 Official Veterinarian. He is also a certified equine thermologist with a strong interest in integrating thermography with advanced diagnostic imaging technologies to improve clinical decision-making.

04

Outside clinical practice, Dr. Ahmad is a strong advocate for equine welfare and periodically supports underserved equine communities in developing regions by providing veterinary care to working and sick horses. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, and visiting family in Pakistan. Together, they share a passion for mountaineering and have completed a trek to the K2 Base Camp, beneath the world's second-highest mountain.
